Develops the ability to be present. To be present is to be free of attachment, is to learn to love oneself, is to discover the silence and connect with it.
Freedom from attachment is freedom from hatred, greed, ambition. When we learn to identify our negative attitudes, our own judgments, our addictions, then we must act before them. It is not enough to recognize the problem, we must act. If you find that in you there is anger, no matter how small, act, as you would like someone else to recognize and act against their anger if it hurts you.
Do not expect an emotion to affect you because it separates you from others, or harms you in your work, acts long before. If you see negative attitudes in your near, in your children, in your parents, use the law of the mirror to work that attitude in you.
When people are not responsible for themselves blaming their personal processes around, often indirectly, they seek reasons outside themselves to understand what happens to them inside. They look to the past and discover “causes” of a pain, of a problem, of a current conflict situation, but the past does not exist, it is gone. Other times they look at ancestors, in those parents, grandparents or great-grandparents who are gone. And if they are gone, how is your problem present? When you love yourself you know that the answer is in oneself, in the present. You can then search in the past, in the ancestors, to show you a reflection of what is in you now. Guilt, hatred, anger, cruelty, fear, unconsciousness, greed, is not in that past life you revived, neither in your childhood, nor in your ancestors, it is in you, at the present moment.
Sometimes life looks like a river of murky water, you connect with that river and instantly it’s a plentiful river of wisdom. You connect with the problems without any evasion, and the same current conflict situation gives you the answer, maybe with an image, with a memory, with a liberating emotion, and that response that comes to you, although it has a way of past, is a reflection that helps you connect Stronger with you in the present.
When from the silence there is self-love, you value yourself and you accept in all your appearances. You’re not looking to hide any aspect of yourself. The belief of what you are, like a dense fog, will not allow you to see what you really are. Belief will become your vision.
When you think a person is in a certain way, that’s called judgment. However when you open your eyes to the other, always changing, always new, always perfect for you, you learn to “see” without any trial. The belief will cover your vision and will not allow you to discover the true beauty of the other, you will not be able to discover its grandeur or everything that teaches you so that you can grow or learn. The same, the belief about your own life, about yourself, will not let you discover yourself. For example, if you have an established belief that you, you are never envious, how can you discover envy in you? If you have the belief that there is no hatred in you, how will you discover the hatred in you? If hatred exists, it also exists in you. If envy exists in the universe, there will be envy in you too. You are a perfect microcosm, a small universe that reflects everything in the wide sky. And if you manage to connect with your own envy, you can transform it into admiration. If you manage to discover and connect with your own hatred, you can transform it into openness and acceptance. Many people perform this transformation quickly and effortlessly, others require learning to love and accept each other as they are.
Loving and embracing the parts of you that you value is simple.
It is also easy to love and embrace the parts of you that have suffered. Now, the challenge is to love and embrace the parts of you that have created suffering. The part of you that rejects you, who has judgment, who lies, etc. As you discover the negative attitudes in you, and only from this point, you can polish your behavior and free yourself from a great deal of blockages. Without feeling a victim of your unconscious, with affection you observe. You get to know little by little. You’re discovering. So your attitude will not be a reflection of your unconscious and with wisdom you will be able to lead your life.
