Serenity in a state of balance and harmony; When a person feels serenity, it is allowed to flow. The really happy and blissful people are people who live with great serenity in their hearts.
Serenity arises naturally when we understand that life is a flow and we allow life to change and transform us.
When a person is in imbalance, he dreams and aspires to situations and moments in his serene life, instead when a person is in greater balance and awareness of his own needs, he aspires to moments with greater serenity.
An example of this difference is the person who aspires to fall in love, to have an adventure, unlike the one who aspires to a family, a calm, a home. The same person who aspires to a temporary success and who aspires to his personal accomplishments can feed or reach other people.
See what situations you respond to without control. Meditate on situations, personal, thoughts even, that take away your peace. That separate you from your safety and serenity.
Continue to meditate on those situations to which you give excessive importance.
Many people are not allowed to give too much importance to the things around them. What people say, what they do, their work, their money, their family …. Everything is too important and that importance leaves no room for peace. Let’s see how we can remove so much importance from what is around us. Every now and then he does one of these two exercises.
Everything around you is empty in its essence
Look at the things around you and realize how in essence they are empty, they don’t exist. There is no heaven, the earth, there are not the things of this world, artificial or natural things, in essence everything is empty, in essence there is only the great consciousness, God, wisdom, without form, without beginning or end. There is no face, your age, your body, there is no name, there is no you. The emotions that both move you, do not exist, there is not your thought if you want. All are illusions, mere appearances of a world that is only a dream. Empty yourself of all that importance that you have given to the ephemeral, to the illusions.
By doing this exercise you feel a slight inner calm, and gradually manages to experience a great serenity and inner peace. You may even feel that bond with the divine by departing from all the illusory and starting to open up to the really permanent.
The essence of life is all alike
Look at an object, a lamp, a book, a stone. And it takes consciousness as the essence of nature is in that object, as it is in the sun, in all the stars, in everything that surrounds you. The Divine essence is all alike. And once bringing that understanding to everything else around you: other books, objects, walls, the ground, go beyond, to all the things that surround you. And think and feel like the divine essence is all alike. It’s in you, it’s in the book, it’s on the computer, it’s in the light, it’s in the dark, it’s all over. See thinking of each of the people you know or knew in the past, in all is the divine essence equally, in animals, on earth, in everything that governs the sky, in the sea. Meditate on this feeling of balance and expansion.
These exercises will give you a great mental opening that will help you to live with greater balance and peace.
