Equanimity is a human value that is the result of personal development. It is the last of the Four divine abodes (conscious attention, unconditional love, full bliss, equanimity)
The work to perform this practice is a constant work of releasing and seeking personal balance.
All objects, people, feelings or emotions that surround us will be treated equally.
It is interesting to look for this feeling in the kitchen, with food, accepting and integrating everything that comes with the same neutral attitude, without rejection or attachment.
After this work with other life situations will be much easier.
The achievement will be obtained when we live certain situations without altering, without attachment or rejection. which will give us great balance and inner peace.
When this feeling costs us, as in the previous practices we can go through phases:
1º we seek to feel equanimity towards a person who is indifferent to us
2º we seek to feel equanimity towards a close person or someone we admire
3 º We seek to feel equanimity towards a person who has done us some harm
4 º We seek to feel equanimity towards all situations and beings that surround us
5th we seek to feel equanimity towards ourselves
